Sivananda Sarma Memorial RV college¸ Bangalore is one of the pioneer institutions run by the RV group of institutions. The college is known for providing quality education to first generation learners of all strata of society for the past 30 years. The motto of the institution is  Education for Wholeness". The vision of the institution is "inclusive education for holistic development of individuals to meet societal requirements?.
The College has the honour of being named after the great educationist¸ freedom fighter and seer¸ Sri. M C Sivananda Sarma founder of the Rastreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust. Drawing from this rich and insightful experience¸ he founded the Rashtreya Vidyalaya Institution in 1940. Today¸ RSST has twenty six renowned educational institutions spread across Karnataka having the vision of ?Excellence in Education with Societal commitment?. The college is affiliated to Bangalore University and recognised by UGC under 2(f) in 1991 and 12B in 1999. The College has been accredited by NAAC with ?A? Grade in its third cycle in January 2017.
