DESCRIPTION :

The University has three campuses - its main campus at Visakhapatnam¸ off campuses at Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Known for its creative dynamism and flexibility¸ the University offers varied programmes blending skill development and value orientation to shape the careers of students and develop holistic personality to be privileged members of the civil society. The university also offers several programmes through distance learning to increase access to higher education with emphasis on reaching the unreached.
GITAM University¸ Visakhapatnam has been extending its services to the other States of India with a view to Training innovative and competent professionals in the field of technology and management. In the process¸ during the year 2012¸ Bengaluru campus was commissioned¸ physically through construction of infrastructure and intellectually through dedicated faculty and administrative staff. The campus is provided with state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities with modern classrooms¸ laboratories¸ playfields and other student support services
GITAM University introduced GITAM School of Technology(GST) during the academic year 2012-13 with a view to impart Training in the fields of Technology and Management for the youth of coming generations to help them avail opportunities present in the silicon valley of India.
