It is  Approved by AICTE¸  New Delhi and is affiliated to VTU¸ Belgaum. The primary aim of establishing the college at the gateway of Kodagu (Coorg) is to provide quality technical education to  the students and to achieve academic excellence in UG program .  All admissions to the college are made through Common Entrance Test(CET)¸conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA)¸ Bengaluru.
