Institute of Management¸ Kolhapur is a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University)¸ Pune. The Institute was established in the year 1994 under the mentorship of Dr. Patangrao Kadam. The institute is a reputed institution of management science in the region & recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra and approved by AICTE¸ New Delhi. Up till 2005 Institute was affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur and recently brought under the ambit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University)¸ Pune as a constituent unit from the academic year 2005-06.

With an aim of providing quality education in management sciences¸ Institute of Management¸ Kolhapur was established in 1994. it is a reputed institution of Management Science in the region and is recognized by the Govt. of Maharashtra. The MBA and MCA programmes are approved by the AICTE¸ New Delhi. The Institute was affiliated to the Shivaji University till 2005. it was brought under the ambit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) in 2005.
