DESCRIPTION :

Liberalization¸ Privatization and Globalization (LPG) are no more a new or an unknown term. By virtue of India being a member of WTO Indian socio-economic environment is being pervaded at a great speed by the LPG phenomenon. Though the Indian Government has not yet opened up the education sector to foreign institutions¸ it may not be able to do so for long and sooner or later foreign institutions will get an entry in our country through a proper channel. Nevertheless some foreign institutions have already set up their shops in India through different roots. The trends so far clearly indicate that out of all the streams of professional education the field of management education will be affected the most by globalization. Indian B-Schools which do not plan and prepare themselves for this change may have the same fate which many industries in India had after opening up of Indian economy in 1991.

Knowing this reality IES Management College is gearing itself up to face the challenge of tomorrow through its policy document Vision 2010. The future of IES Management College will be guided by this document which is going to make IES Management College a force to be reckoned within the field of management education in near future.
