DESCRIPTION :

The Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society¸ Amravati was established in the year 1965 under the Chairmanship of Late Prof. Ram Meghe¸ (Ex-Education & Health Minister¸ Govt. of Maharashtra). The objectives of this society was to cater the educational needs of the region for better development of the backward Vidarbha region in specific and Maharashtra in general. The society is registered under society act and Trust act in 1965. The Society is presently managing about 65 schools and colleges in Amravati and Wardha Districts¸ imparting education in almost all faculties and is the second largest educational organization in Vidarbha. With the increasing vista in science and technology¸ the society took bold decision to enter the field of education in the faculty of Engineering and Medicine. Well reputed college of Engineering was started at Badnera (Dist. Amravati) in 1984. That college has established itself as a landmark due to installation of ?Param Super Computer?. This Engineering College is also successfully running postgraduate courses in various disciplines of engineering and technology. The Institute of Pharmacy at Borgaon (Meghe) in Wardha District is considered as one of the leading center for graduate and post-graduate studies in the Pharmacy faculty in Maharashtra State. Both these colleges are recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Other prominent institutes / colleges are Polytechnic Badnera¸ Industrial Training Institute Badnera¸ and Science Colleges at Nandgaon (Khandeshwar) and Amravati¸ and Social work college¸ Amravati. Its my immense pleasure introducing our multi-faculty Institution in this region. Today¸ living in the knowledge era¸ where?Globe is like a village?¸ we are abide to impart quality education.
