DESCRIPTION :

Nanded is one of the historical places in Marathwada region of  Maharashtra State. It is situated on the north bank of Godavari river. It is  famous for Sikh Gurudwaras.It is said that during the Puranic days¸ Pandavas travelled through Nanded district. Nandas ruled over Nanded through generations. 
Nanded was the capital of the district of Telangana.It is the place of birth of the Saint poets like Vishnupant Sesa and Raguhunath Sesa  and Vaman Pandit besides being a Centre for learning Sanskrit. Today¸ Nanded is fast growing into a city with huge trade potential. 
Many Corporates are opening their branch offices in the city. On the Educational front¸ Nanded now houses the Swami Ramananad Teerth Nanded University which was established looking at the educational colleges and the potential of the students. Nanded for MGM Trust is also the birthplace of the Trust and has special significance and emotional value.
