DESCRIPTION :

The Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education (M.C.E.) Society¸ Pune is established in 1948. It is an educational society registered under the Society?s Registration Act of 1860 and also a Public Trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. It is also registered under section 12(a) of Income Tax Act 1961 and is exempted u/s 80G of the said Act by the Income Tax Commissioner¸ Pune.

The Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society which runs M. A. Rangoonwala College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre¸ Pune¸ is both a religious & linguistic minority educational institution under the meaning of Article 30(1) of the Constitution of India. The M.C.E. Society is one of the oldest educational organizations of Pune & has done pioneering work in the field of education for the socially & economically backward sections of the society.In pursuance with the aims & objectives the society has set up 21 educational institutions right from Pre-primary to Graduate & Post Graduate levels in the field of Arts¸ Science¸ Commerce¸ Computer Science¸ Law¸ Education¸ Pharmacy¸ Management Sciences¸ Architecture¸ Engineering & Dental Sciences.
