Yashwantrao Chavan Institute of Social Sciences Studies & Research was established in the academic year 1986-87 by Bharati Vidyapeeth¸ Pune under the able and dynamic guidance of Hon?ble Dr. Patangrao Kadam.
It is one of the constituent units of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University¸ established with a view to conduct research and academic programmes in social sciences.
Every year the students across the country from J & K in the north to Tamil Nadu¸ Kerala in the south and from Gujarat in the west to Manipur in the Far East get attracted towards the Institute with their dreams to make career in Management and Social Sciences.
Apart from India¸ the institute gets students from foreign countries as well.
