DESCRIPTION :

To overcome the dearth of Pharmacists¸ Nagrik Shikshan Sanstha started the college of pharmacy. Diploma in pharmacy is the minimum qualification for registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act¸ 1948 and according to section 42 of this Act the profession of pharmacy is reserved for the Registered pharmacists only. Under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act a qualified person is one who holds a Diploma in pharmacy and/or a registered pharmacist.

Nagrik Shikshan Sanstha's College of pharmacy offers the course leading to Diploma in Pharmacy (part I and part II). The minimum qualifications required for registration as a pharmacist under the pharmacy Act¸ 1948 shall be Diploma in pharmacy (part I¸ part II¸ part III).

Diploma in pharmacy (part I and part II) shall consist of a certificate of having passed the course of study as per the Education Regulation of the Pharmacy Council of India and part III shall consist of a certificate of having satisfactorily completed a course of practical training as required by the Education Regulations.
