DESCRIPTION :

School of Technology and Computer Science runs a  graduate program in the areas of Computer Science and  the Communications and Systems Science. The graduate program is highly sought after and admission is highly competitive through a national entrance test followed by an interview of shortlisted candidates. (See the section on applying to STCS for Ph.D.)

The graduate program involves coursework followed by research work leading to a Ph.D. Thesis. Guidelines regarding the  structure of the courses¸ qualifier examination and thesis work can be found in the Subject Board Guidelines page.  All selected students are paid honorarium and are eligible to apply for  hostel accommodation. In addition¸ students have opportunity to compete for several prestigious externally funded fellowships.
