DESCRIPTION :

Tilak College of Science and Commerce was started in the year 2002 - 2003 with B.Sc. (C.S) and B.Com. In the year 2003-2004 the college added B.M.S.¸ B.M.M.¸ B.Sc. (I.T) and B.Sc. (Bio-Tech). BSc (Microbiology) was started in 2006-2007.The college has started post graduation in science this year in MSc(Computer Science) and MSc(Information Technology).The college also plans to start MSc(Biotechnology) this academic year.
The college maintains a group of highly dedicated¸ qualified and experienced faculty members to provide the best possible learning for its student. The college is fully equipped with the latest infrastructure with five science labs-Physics¸ Chemistry¸ Biology¸ Biotechnology and Tissue culture¸ Library and Reading room¸ four Computer & IT labs¸ Conference hall fitted with audio visual aids and Gymkhana.

Today it has grown into one of the premier Institutions in Navi Mumbai area. The College always aims to provide exceptional opportunities for the development of academic abilities of its students. The academic excellence we are striving for is reflected in the performance of our students. One of our students (TYBMM) is the topper among Navi Mumbai colleges in 2006-2007.This year too our TY (Biotechnology) is 100% and students have secured high grades.
