The Byramjee Jeejeebhoy College of Commerce began in June 1998¸ when the Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Parsee Charitable Institution felt the need to provide education at the university level.

The Byramjee Jeejeebhoy College of Commerce operates from an impressive Gothic building. This beautiful stone structure is the recipient of an award from the Indian Heritage Society¸ Mumbai. It also houses the School and Junior College of Commerce and Science run by the Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Parsee Charitable Institution.

The Byramjee Jeejeebhoy College of Commerce is co-educational and open to those of all cultures and religions.
