DESCRIPTION :

Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha is one of the renowned educational organization in Maharashtra. In order to make higher education available in the rural areas such as of Sangamner¸ Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha was established in 1968. It has started its Law College in the year 1998 and Shri Omkarnath Malpani was the founder of the Law College. Malpani Pariwar Charitable Trust donated Rs. 15¸25¸111/- for the construction of the Law College building. In the year 2007¸ the college building was constructed based on Roman Architecture. Taking into consideration the devotion of Shri. Omkarnathji Malpani¸ the name of the college has been changed from ?Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha?s Law College? to ?S. P. Sanstha?s Shri Omkarnath Malpani Law College? and the inauguration of the building was done at the auspicious hands of Honorable Shri. R. C. Lahoti (Former Chief Justice of India).

The Law College was founded with the aim of upliftment of the disadvantaged rural youth of this region. When this College was founded in 1998¸ there was no other Law College available to the rural youth in southern region of the Ahmednagar district.

Based on the needs and social circumstances¸ we have been offering the Law Courses of 3 years and 5 years as well as Diploma in Taxation Laws and Diploma in Labour Laws & Labour Welfare in our College. The purpose of starting Law College in the rural area is to enrich and empower the youth in legal knowledge and legal awareness. The students completing the law courses have wonderful employment opportunities at national as well as global level.
