MIT School of Government (MIT-SOG)¸ is the first school of its kind to create future political leaders. Initiated in the year 2005¸ it offers a two-year Master?s degree program in Political Leadership & Government or MPG. First year on-campus learning and Second year off-campus Internships & Training.

MIT-SOG is a constituent unit of MIT World Peace University¸ Pune or MIT-WPU (formerly¸ MAEER's MIT Group of Institutions¸ Pune¸ a highly acclaimed name in the field of education since 1983¸ founded by Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D.
