Vasantdada Patil Ayurvedic Medical College¸ Sangli is situates between Sangli and Miraj cities at vishrambag¸ Sangli. This college is a Government of Maharashtra state grant-in-aid college established in 1981¸ located in the heart of the city¸ near market yard. Sangli is one of the important cities of western Maharashtra region & is known for famous turmeric market in the Asia. Today this institute comprises of Ayurveda College¸ Well equipped Hospital a and also having over for herbal garden and girls hostel inside the campus.

The Vasantdada Patil Ayurvedic Medical College is recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine and affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health sciences¸ Nasik. The College runs regular University Courses for Graduate degree in Ayurveda (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery¸ B.A.M.S.) an intake capacity of 40 students.
