MIT-World Peace University (MIT-WPU) is situated in Pune- the cultural capital of Maharashtra. Surrounded by the Western Ghats¸ Pune is located on the Deccan Plateau on the banks of the serene Mula-Mutha River. The city of Pune boasts of a rich and vibrant heritage witnessing the courage and bravery of the Marathas and Peshwas. A thriving vibrant metropolis it has still retained some of its colonial-era charm.

A landmark in Pune¸ the architectural grandeur and splendour of the buildings of MIT Pune are a testimony to a rich legacy of over 4 decades in the field of education. Known to be among the top education institutions in India it was established in the year 1983 by Prof.Dr.Vishwanath D. Karad and is among the first engineering colleges in the private sector in Maharashtra.

We endeavour to prepare our students to become responsible citizens¸ adept to face the present situations and future challenges in a fast¸ rapidly changing world by incorporating best of academics and values.
