DESCRIPTION :

Established in 1967 as a constituent college of University of Delhi¸ Kalindi College strives for a vision to cater to provide higher education to young women. A nourishing environment supported by a combination of competent infrastructure and a dedicated teaching faculty helps our students to achieve the highest in Academics¸ Sports and other Extra-Curricular Activities.
With 13 courses in different Humanities¸ Commerce and Science disciplines¸ coveted Professional degree courses in Computer Science and Journalism and contemporary and relevant Add-On Courses such as Video Production and Foreign Languages¸ an applicant to Kalindi College is spoilt for choice. With a team of 124 dedicated teachers and an 90-members strong¸ efficient and co-operative administrative staff¸ the college provides its students an environment conducive to all-round development.
The College has an enrolment of over 2570 regular students and 900 Non-Collegiate Students and offers a vibrant atmosphere¸ motivating its students to expand their horizons¸ aim for the highest of goals and then encouraging and supporting them to surpass those goals. The college infrastructure is undergoing a rapid change. The Teaching Bloc has been recently renovated. A new state-of-the-art cyber centre equipped with more than 100 computers for students and faculty members has been operational from the last semester as is the garden that boasts of several herbal/medicinal plants.
