An ISO 9001 ? 2008 Certified¸ the Ashok Institute of Hospitality & Tourism Management is run by ITDC in New Delhi. Besides handling the ITDC's in-house training needs¸ the Institute conducts a four-year Bachelor's Degree Course in 'International Hospitality Business Management'; Trade Diploma Courses in Hotel Operations and Air Hostess¸ Aviation¸ Travel & Tourism Courses.

Institute Background
ITDC set up its in-house Training Centre in 1971.
In 1999¸ the Training Centre received ISO 9001 - 1994 Certification
During 2002-2003¸ after the disinvestment of 18 ITDC Hotels¸ the Centre was declared a 'Strategic Business Unit'.
In 2003¸ the Centre was upgraded to ISO 9001 - 2000 Certification
In 2003-2004¸ the Centre was converted as a full-fledged Institute:  Ashok Institute of Hospitality & Tourism Management" (AIH&TM)
In 2011¸ the centre was upgraded to ISO 9001-2008 certificate"
