DESCRIPTION :

School of Nursing was established in Safdarjang Hospital in the year   1960 for conducting a Course on Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery¸ of 3? yrs duration.   The School of Nursing is upgraded to College of Nursing in the year 2008 with an annual intake of 100 students. B.Sc.(H) Nursing programme is of 4 years duration. The College of Nursing is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh I. P. University & recognised by Indian Nursing Council & Delhi Nursing Council.  At present the total strength of students is 250.  The current intake for the year 2014-15 is 50 students.

The primary objective of college is to provide education in the field of Nursing.
