DESCRIPTION :

It is seen that the Polytechnic education has lagged behind the degree level education.  As a result of this¸ there is an under utilization of qualified engineers.  The high cost of diploma education and relatively poor financial capacity of the aspiring students is not attracting private investment into diploma level education. But we are fully aware of our responsibility and we boldly faced the challenge by starting the first Polytechnic college in Kerala in self financing sector.

Established in 2004¸ KMCT Polytechnic College Kozhikode offers Ten Diploma courses namely Automobile Engineering¸ Architectural Engineering¸ Biomedical Engineering¸ Civil Engineering¸ Computer Hardware Engineering¸ Electrical & Electronics Engineering¸ Electronics & Communication Engineering¸ Instrumentation Engineering¸ Mechanical Engineering (2 Batches) and Tool & Die Engineering. With its avowed commitment to quality¸ the Polytechnic college has managed to attract an excellent team of qualified faculty members dedicated to teaching and has setup state-of-the-art facilities providing the right infrastructure for technical education. Over these years¸ the college has become one of the most preferred Polytechnic colleges in the state.
