Devaki Amma Memorial Teacher Education College¸ Chelembra is one of the pioneering Self-Financing Teacher Education Colleges in Kerala. The College started functioning in 2001 by offering the B.Ed Course with specialization in subjects like Malayalam¸ English¸ Social Science¸ and Natural Science. The TTC programme started in 2005 and the M.Ed Course was soon sanctioned to the College¸ considering its merit¸ by NCTE and the Government of Kerala. Over the years¸ Devaki Amma Memorial Teacher Education College has come to be regarded as the epitome of quality in Teacher education.
