Chitra College of Nursing is a premier nursing institute in Kerala offering Graduate level nursing courses to students. These courses are recognized by INC¸ Kerala State Nursing Council and the Institute is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences. This institute is the education initiative of Chitra Multi specialty Hospital.

Chitra Multi Specialty Hospital is the parent hospital with300 bed situated at Pandalam. The hospital was started in the year 1993 with maternity as our specialty. Ever since¸ the hospital has grown become an institution of enormous magnitude both in dimension and repute through the strenuous efforts of our Managing Partners.¸ Doctors¸ Staff and Well- wishers. We have a team of committed and dedicated professional to provide quality health care both prophylactic and curative in almost all the specialties. The hospital has earned a very good recognition as a leader of providing quality health care services to common man at an affordable cost.

We started a review in the nursing education with establishment of school of Nursing in October 12¸ 2005 and the college in October 10¸ 2010.
In a short time the nursing Institute has gained a reputation for quality teaching and student care. A team of core faculty at the institute with right mix of qualification¸ experience and enthusiasm ensures regular classes; timely academic progress and proper student mentoring. Discipline and regular attendance of students are closely monitored and the institute holds periodic meeting with parents on progress of their wards.
