Josco College of Nursing¸ Edappon¸ Josco Junction¸ Pandalam¸ Alappuzha District¸ had its inception in the year 2005. This is a premier department of Josco Group of Institutions¸ under Josco Multi - Speciality Hospital¸ managed by Good Samaritan Charitable Trust. Our college is recognized by INC & KNC. We are affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences¸ Thrissur. Josco College of Nursing is one of the Self Financing College under Private sector¸ signed agreement with the Government and sharing 50% of the seats with the Government. Our College has been recognized as Christian Minority Women?s college among the Nursing Colleges in Kerala state and we have also obtained the ISO ? 9001: 2008 certification.

Our parent hospital is a 300 bedded Multi ? Speciality Hospital with all departments like General Medicine¸ General Surgery¸ Orthopaedics & Orthosurgery¸ Cardiology¸ Nephrology¸ Urology¸ Obstetrics & Gynaecology¸ Paediatrics¸ Psychiatry¸ Eye¸ ENT & Dental.

We have started the B. Sc. Nursing programme on 23rd January 2006 with an annual intake of 40. At present the annual intake for B. Sc Nursing is 60. At present¸ we have Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing with an annual intake of 40 & M. Sc Nursing in all specialities with an annual intake of 18. Moreover¸ we are so happy that our students have gained cent percent excellence in their academic performance & we are glad that all the students who passed out from our institution are placed in high positions in different parts of the world.
