DESCRIPTION :

Sivagiri Sree Narayana Medical Mission College of Nursing was started in October 2004 with an intake of 50 students in Basic B.Sc Nursing programme. Now the college is offering B.Sc Nursing¸ M.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing courses. For Basic B.Sc Nursing course 
he seat was enhanced to 60 in 2008 & 70 in 2009.
Our students are attaining always good results in examinations. For the development of extracurricular activities¸ we are sending students to participate in zonal and State level SNA competitions and getting prizes. 

In 2009 M.Sc Nursing course was started with Community Health Nursing ¸ Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing specialty with five seats in each specialty. In 2010 two more specialties ie¸ Peadiatric Nursing & Medical Surgical Nursing ¸ with 5 seats each were started. Thus the college has been imparting instructions in five specialties in M.Sc Nursing. 
In 2010 Post Basic B.Sc Nursing programme was started with an intake of 30 students. College has got affiliation from INC¸ KNC¸ Kerala University and Kerala University of Health Sciences for all these courses. The college is having fully qualified and experienced faculty¸ well equipped Lab and a good computerized library with internet facilities.
