DESCRIPTION :

The Seventh day Adventist Hospital¸ Ottapalam¸ is a pioneer charitable mission hospital established in 1969; as a part of a health care unit of the worldwide organization - the Seventh day Adventist Church. The hospital is situated in the district of Palakkad which lies adjacent to the Palakkad - Shoranur highway.

TRUST HOSPITAL
For effective functioning the S.D.A. Church has formed the Trust body called Council of Seventh day Adventist Hospitals (COSDAH) and later Medical Trust of Seventh day Adventists which is a registered body under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860¸ Reg. No.516 of 1999¸ under which the hospitals are embedded. This Trust operates on a no loss no profit basis. All the operations and accounts are strictly scrutinized and certified by the Chartered Accountant on a yearly basis after the internal auditing is done. All dues and liabilities like Income Tax¸ Provident Fund¸ Gratuity¸ Retirement and other schemes are strictly implemented.
