Vijay Marie School of Nursing is a unit of Vijay Marie Educational Society a Charitable Institution. It is a Registered Society and also a Religious Minority Educational Institution established primarily for the benefit of the members of the poor Christian young girls. It is open educational institution¸ to all persons irrespective of religion¸ caste or community and is recognized by India Nursing Council¸ Andhra Pradesh state Nursing Council. The addition of various departments in our hospital¸ professionally trained nursing personnel were a felt need of the hospital¸ as a response to which a school of nursing was founded in 1973 with a view to educating girls from low socio-economic strata and preparing dedicated young women for humanitarian service in hospitals and communities or wherever they are called upon to care for the suffering humanity.
