When Narasinghpur deserved a College and the people needed it¸ they had it. Pious and propitious were indeed the moments of that memorable day¸ the 31st day of December¸ 1978 when the temple bells tolled and the entire atmosphere of Narasinghpur overflowed with their resounding resonance to open the gate-way of this shrine of higher learning. Befittingly Dr. Radhanath Rath¸ the Editor of The Samaj" and a noble and notable son of mother Orissa inaugurated the establishment of this College whose blessings have a cheering and an animating influence on the in-mates of this Alma Mater
