AINE (Asian Institute of Nursing Education)¸ the first private Nursing Institute in North East India  established By Dr Unmona Borgohain Saikia in 2004 with  B.Sc Nursing Course under INS trust ¸ recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Assam Nursing Council  and affiliated to  SNDT Women?s University (5 star NAAC accredited). SNDT is the first Women?s University in India and having All India Jurisdiction for affiliation. In 2009 M.Sc Nursing course started and subsequently in 2011 the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course was started under Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences¸ Assam. The Institute is rated as best Nursing College in North East India.

Dr Unmona borgohain is a Graduated from Regional Nursing College Guwahati¸ after that she worked as Tutor and then as Staff Nurse at Diphu Civil Hospital. Post graduated from SNDT Womens? University Mumbai. After her post graduation she joined in GNRC Hospitals. Subsequently She completed her Ph. D from Gauhati University¸ Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Hospital Management from New Delhi and M.Sc. in Psychotherapy and counselling from IPMS Mumbai. She is certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9000:2000 by BSI. Dr Borgohain has initiated the culture of in-service education to Nursing at Assam.
