DESCRIPTION :

Dhemaji Post Graduate Training College was established in the year 1991 and located in the North ? East corner of Dhemaji Town with a conducive natural environment. It is the single College of Teacher Education in the Dhemaji District. The intake capacity of this College is 100. Seats are also available for the in-service Teachers (deputation provision). The admission process is conducted under the guideline of Dibrugarh University. Every year Dibrugarh University holds Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission of the fresh candidates into B.Ed. course. The deputation seats are filled up by the order from the Govt. In addition to our local students some other students from neighbor states come for study every year. This College has been able to maintain a good record of performance in the examination over the years.

Bio-metric attendance device is installed in August¸ 2019 for the teaching staff¸ Non-Teaching staff and trainees.

This College organizes various activities and programmes in every academic year for the professional growth of the student Teachers and expects quality Teacher Education.
