DESCRIPTION :

Subharti Dental College was started under the umbrella of Subharti KK B Charitable Trust in the year1996. ?Subharti? is a manifestation of the ideas of Dr. Atul Krishna a noted surgeon of western Uttar Pradesh & Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar a reputed physician & medical imaging specialist.

The idea of Subharti was born in the mind of Dr Atul Krishna when he was a young medical student of LLRM Medical College Meerut in 1974 as social service organization. In 1995 Subharti K K B Charitable Trust was established to give practical shape to dreams & aspirations of the team at Subhartipuram. The dental college was the first educational project of this dynamic group and it started functioning initially on the premises of Lokpriya Hospital¸ a privately owned and hugely popular general hospital in Meerut.

The new campus was meanwhile taking shape on Delhi-Haridwar Bypass Road and the college was shifted here in 1999. Several other colleges came up on its premises including Subharti Medical College¸ Nursing and Physiotherapy colleges¸ an engineering and law college etc. In 2008¸ the Subharti group of institutions was finally awarded the status of a private University which is now a approx 200 acre educational township on the outskirts of Meerut city.
