About Us
Government Polytechnic College Dewas was established in the year 2010 during the 11th plan period under the scheme ?Sub-mission of Polytechnics for skill development? to set-up new polytechnics all over the country. The institute is situated in an area of 2 hectares with well equipped Laboratories and Smart classes. We are currently running three AICTE approved Diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering¸ Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. One more course i.e. Electrical Engineering has been already sanctioned by the State Government and the approval by AICTE is in under processes. The annual intake of students in each course is 75. Students are admitted through Pre Polytechnic Test (PPT)/ on the basis of qualifying examination (10th) and ITI lateral entry. The Institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya¸ Bhopal.
